Our Short, But Long History

In 2008, four well-established industry-leading lubricant distribution and related services companies collaborated to create a strategy that would transform how to meet and even exceed previously unmet customer needs in the automotive, commercial, and industrial industries. Using their collective industry experience, they created a new comprehensive customer value proposition to improve the return on assets of customers’ machines, trucks and vehicles.

On November 4, 2010 these four businesses, namely: Mid-Town Petroleum, Inc. (Bridgeview, Illinois); Oil Distributing Company (Cincinnati, Ohio); The Hurt Company, Inc. (Houston, Texas), and Pumpelly Oil Company (Sulphur, Louisiana) joined forces to form RelaDyne.

Since then, RelaDyne has continued to actively expand its footprint across the United States with the acquisitions of over 35 independent lubricants companies including, Hill Oil Company in Farmerville, Louisiana; Maxum Petroleum’s Great Lakes lubricant and bobtail business in Chesterton, Indiana (formerly Paulson Oil Company); Cardwell Distributors in Salt Lake City, Utah; Western Marketing Inc., in Abilene, Texas; family of companies Seaboard Neumann, Flamingo Oil, and Jack Becker Distributors of Florida; CIRCOR Reliability Services brands COT-PURITECH, CLARUS, LSC, LUBRITECH, SICELUB, and Canadian Chemical Cleaning Services, Inc., and many more.

The RelaDyne footprint has strategically expanded across the United States, where our acquisitions have joined RelaDyne to continuously build long-term, mutually profitable client relationships through listening to customer needs and providing solutions to make their business operations more reliable, productive, and profitable.
