Safety
At Turbo Filtration, safety is paramount. We provide exceptional quality service while maintaining optimum safety standards.
Our highly-trained people are what make TFC successful. It is mandatory that all TFC Field Technicians undergo a complete background investigation, a physical, and a drug screening, and every TFC employee is required to attend four safety and training classes per year. On staff is a Safety Engineer, currently a member of The American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), who maintains the latest job safety policies and procedures as well as OSHA requirements. All TFC employees have completed at least 10 hours of OSHA Certification Training along with basic First Aid and CPR Training.
TFC Employee Continuous Training includes:
- Corporate Safety Policy
- Drug and Alcohol Policy
- Hazard Communication Program
- Emergency Action and Response
- Good Housekeeping
- SDS Program
- Fire Safety
- Electrical Safety
- Hand and Power Tool Safety
- Lockout / Tagout
- Confined Space Entry
- Fall Protection
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- First Aid
- Forklift Operation
- OSHA Regulations
Before we begin work for a client, a Job Safety Analysis (JSA) is conducted by the Safety Engineer or Project Manager. All TFC employees are required to attend a safety meeting on-site before the start of a project, and follow-up weekly meetings are conducted until the end of the projects. All JSA and safety meetings are documented and recorded for everyone’s safety.
We take pride in our stringent safety policies. While on a client’s property, we will abide by the guidelines set forth by that client, so long as they meet or exceed the standards set by Turbo Filtration.
