Sustainability in Motion

Our Commitment

It is no surprise that our world is making a shift towards reducing our carbon footprint and striving for more renewable and sustainable operations. RelaDyne is aware of the changing world and are reacting in a big way!

We are committed to putting Sustainability in Motion by implementing sustainable practices into our business with Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) standards in mind. Today, we are doing our part to reduce the amount of harmful oil waste through sustainable solutions and incorporating low-carbon products to reduce emissions.

Understanding ESG:

  • Energy and Clean Energy: Energy use in business operations, including energy consumption for fleet, equipment, offices and distribution facilities. This includes efforts to use energy from low carbon sources (e.g., biofuels, renewable electricity, hydrogen) for use in business operations, including energy consumption for product delivery and transportation of equipment and staff to client site and HVAC and operations of offices and distribution facilities.
  • Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG) and Air Pollution: Releases of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and fluorinated gases which trap energy within the earth’s atmosphere. Increased concentrations of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions cause climate change and increase air pollution leading to lower air quality. GHG emissions predominantly come from burning fossil fuels for electricity, heat and transportation. Reductions are achieved through energy efficiency and switching to less carbon intensive energy sources.
  • Physical Climate Change: Changes in climate and weather events due to climate change. Risks can include shorter-term risks like drought, floods, extreme precipitation and wildfires or long-term risks like rising temperatures or loss of biodiversity. Addressing physical climate change can include preparedness and resilience efforts to mitigate physical climate change risks to fleet, equipment, offices or distribution facilities.
  • Resource efficiency: Minimizing impact on the environment by optimizing, reusing or recycling resources (e.g., energy, water, oils, lubricants, natural gas). This includes resources used for operating fleet, equipment, offices and facilities for both service and distribution businesses.
  • Environmental Degradation: Deterioration of the environment through depletion of resources (e.g., air, water and soil) or increase of pollutants. This can include environmental impacts in production, distribution, operations or the supply chain.
  • Sustainable Procurement: Integration and embedding of environmental and social considerations into procurement and supplier decision-making to drive supply chain ESG integration and to strengthen risk management and brand reputation. This can include choosing partners that protect human rights, human health and the environment and have social impact.
