The additive line contains seven products, each with specific enhancements to fuel performance to meet even the harshest weather conditions.
FPS products are performance-engineered additives that deliver superior, money-saving results by promoting better fuel economy and replacing components not found in today’s ultra-low sulfur diesel fuels. “The inadequate protection of ultra-low sulfur diesel and the growing need for improved cold weather performance requires transportation professionals to take extra steps to protect their fleets,” states Terry Huffman, FPS Additive Specialist. “FPS additives provide the protection these fleets demand and need for optimum performance.”
The FPS product line contains performance-based enhancers that range from cetane improvers for better engine starts and complete combustion to a high pressure common rail (HPCR) detergent package designed for newer engines to reduce deposits and keep injectors clean. The newest product in the line-up, WASA14, contains a ‘wax anti-settling agent’, cold flow improvers, and moisture control/de-icers for enhanced cold weather operability of diesel engines during extreme weather conditions.
