As RelaDyne and companies across the country celebrate
Driver Appreciation Week (September 9 – 14, 2018), we spotlight our valuable drivers. Recently, many of our most dedicated drivers were awarded the Diamond Driver Award. This award is indicative of their attitude, dedication, and a job well done as a RelaDyne driver. We are so thankful for the dedication and service of our drivers!
“It doesn’t really even feel like a job,” says a Sulphur, LA, RelaDyne Driver, who is retired from the Air Force and noticed RelaDyne while working at a previous company. “I used to see the guys that came in to deliver fuel and felt like RelaDyne would be an interesting company to work for.” Today, he has been driving for RelaDyne for three years and was recently one of the recipients of the Diamond Driver Award.
Another driver for RelaDyne in Chesterton, Indiana, has been with RelaDyne for nearly two years. When asked why he chose driving as a career, he referenced the fact that his office “has a rotating view.” He started with RelaDyne after being referred by a friend. He delivers packaged goods to customers across the Great Lakes region.
A RelaDyne driver in Lubbock, Texas, has been with Western Marketing, a RelaDyne Company for 12 years. His favorite part of the job? “The calm of the morning and the breathtaking view of the sunset every day.” His path to RelaDyne began when he was looking for a place to call home. “It took a long time to get here,” he said referencing his journey to Lubbock, Texas. Today, he enjoys the camaraderie of his fellow associates. “They’re not just associates, they’re friends; we get along great,” he said. His dedication to his driving career runs deep. “It’s a very demanding job with just as many hours at work as at home,” he said. “I like the flexibility; each day is different, and you get to problem solve.”
Our drivers come from all backgrounds and each have taken a different path to get to RelaDyne. We are thankful that they chose RelaDyne for their driving career.
