RelaDyne, one of the nation’s leading providers of lubricants, fuel, diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), and industrial reliability services, has entered into a public-private partnership with the City of Chicago Heights to relocate its previous facility in Elk Grove Village to Chicago Heights.

RelaDyne moved into the former Sherwin Williams paint facility located at 290 East Joe Orr Road in late August 2019 and is completing renovations through October 2019. The relocation stems from growth and consolidation efforts for RelaDyne’s Great Lakes operations. Three Great Lakes regional facilities totaling 11 buildings were consolidated to create the Chicago Heights location. The consolidation will create unlimited distribution efficiencies across departments.

“This relocation is an exciting venture for RelaDyne,” said General Manager, Chris Lasso. “We will have increased warehouse capability, modernized office space and more that our customers and associates alike will directly benefit.”

Several municipalities including the State of Illinois, Chicago Heights Fire Department, Chicago Heights Police Department, code enforcement agencies, sanitary district, and the Environmental Protection Agency were involved in making sure necessary unique accommodations were made for this enterprise relocation.

“The new Chicago Heights facility offers improved efficiencies for our vast distribution operations, unique custom blending capabilities and our significant services network,” said RelaDyne President Larry Stoddard.
